As temperatures soar, there's nothing quite like a frosty treat to cool you down and satisfy your sweet tooth. Now that you are thinking about it, let's dive into some of the most delicious and refreshing cool treats available at Pine Market so you can beat the heat.
Ice cream remains the king of cool treats, but Jeremiah’s Ice takes it to the next level. The company’s signature layered combination of soft-serve ice cream and Italian ice called The Gelati is rich, creamy and indulgent. Customers can choose from more than 40 ice flavors that are then swirled with the ice cream. A little too decadent? You can order an Italian Ice or soft serve ice cream on its own.
Want to satisfy your sweet tooth and just hang out? Boba Chic can help with both. The tapioca milk and fruit teas can be customized with a variety of toppings and sauces. Specialty drinks are made with fresh tea, Jello cheese foam and brown sugar boba. Non-caffeinated drinks such as chocolate milk and brown sugar boba are available. That’s not all, the café also serves up freshly made waffle cones filled with ice cream and capped with dry toppings and drizzles. Plenty of seating indoors and out allows you to sit back and relax.
You don’t have to give up your favorite cup of Joe just because it’s hot. Cool down with a refreshing iced coffee at Luv Coffee. The café offers a range of chill drinks including lemonades, chocolate milk and frozen coffees. A variety of drinks combining fruit juice and iced tea are also available (Hint — try the Watermelon Mint Refresher). Don’t worry about Fido, he can cool down with a puppaccino. Best of all, 50 percent of all profits go to meet the basic needs of children in Haiti and India.
If you are out and about on a very hot today, we bet you are dreaming about your favorite flavor of Blue Bell ice cream. No need to hurry home to your freezer. Sugar Sugar is an authorized Blue Bell ice cream provider. That’s not all you will find. The shop sells a dizzying array of sweet treats, including fudge, classic candies and more. You can even pick up a cold drink from their refrigerated cases.
Fro-yo favorite 16 Handles doesn’t open until the fall, but this is Texas and fall is still a tad warm. The shop will offer 16 rotating frozen yogurt flavors such as cake batter, butter beer, Arriba coffee and more. Many options are gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, reduced fat and low in sugar. Choose from a variety of toppings such as fruit, nuts and candy. Prefer a frosty shake? They will have those, too.
