Just a handful of neighborhoods in Woodforest have newly constructed homes available and one of those is Stewart Heights. But this gem of a neighborhood has more than just new homes going for it. Take a look at five reasons why you’ll love living in Stewart Heights:
Nearby Schools
Parents of elementary-aged children can rest easy knowing their children attend Stewart Elementary located right across the street from the neighborhood. It’s easy for kids to walk or bike to school, and parents can easily pop over with forgotten lunches, attend a class party or volunteer. And if your little one starts feeling sick, you’re just a minute or two away.
But Stewart Elementary isn’t the only nearby school — Children’s Lighthouse and Kiddie Academy are also close, making it easy to drop off and pick up children to and from work.
Community Within a Community
Stewart Heights is in the far northwest corner of the Woodforest master plan, and residents there have developed a strong sense of identity as the enclave doesn’t border any other neighborhoods. Block parties and backyard barbecues are regular summertime events, and families often meet up at Stewart Heights Park for playdates. The pavilion there is an ideal setting for birthday parties or other celebrations.
Generous Home Choices
Stewart Heights boasts some of Woodforest’s most affordable homes. Chesmar Homes offers villas that range from 1,699 to 1,908 square feet and are priced in the upper $200,000s. A new single-story design will be added soon.
Perry Homes and Tri Pointe Homes also build in Stewart Heights. Perry Homes offers 41 single-family floor plans in Stewart Heights designed for 40- and 50-foot properties. Pricing is from the $350,000s, and sizes range from 1,500 to 3,300 square feet. Buyers can choose from 15 Tri Pointe single-family floor plans ranging in size from 1,600 to 2,976 square feet on 40- and 50-foot homesites. Offering up to five bedrooms, the homes are priced from the $310,000s.
Easy Access
Stewart Heights has quick access to Fish Creek Thoroughfare, the main artery through Woodforest connecting to FM 1488 and Highway 105. Within the community, Fish Creek Thoroughfare takes you to the medical offices at Sterling Ridge, the many shops and restaurants located in our commercial district and Woodforest Golf Club.
The Church at Woodforest
Stewart Heights is also near The Church at Woodforest, a worship community of The Woodlands Methodist Church. In addition to Sunday services, the church hosts occasional concerts and other special events. Volunteer opportunities are available as are chances to build community through Bible studies as well as other diverse groups catering to singles, young adults, adults ages 55 and older and others. With the church so close, Stewart Heights residents can leave the car at home and walk to services on sunny days.
